A range of multiport subscriber’s VoIP gateways TAU-xx.IP is intended for transmitting voice and facsimile information via IP networks. The gateways provide subscribers with high-quality telephone communication with supporting additional types of service: redirecting, awaiting a call, tripartite conference, interception of call, group call, calling line identification presentation, etc. 

High quality of sound 

High-performance hardware platform on the basis of up-to-date chip Mindspeed, support of basic audiocodecs used in VoIP networks (G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.729), echo cancellation functions, silence detector, comfortable noise generator, reception and generation of DTMF signals as well as mechanisms of traffic prioritization (QoS) ensure high quality of voice information. 

IMS Ready 

Support of IMS extensions allows using TAU with different IMS platforms. 

Ease of use 

The user-friendly control interface, supporting means of group-type automated control on the basis of TR-069 and DHCP (DHCP-autoprovisioning) protocols and possibility of changing physical parameters of subscriber lines ensure ease of using unlimited number of TAU gateways on the operator’s network. A possibility of measuring the following parameters of subscriber lines is supported:  
  • external voltage between wires a and b
  • subscriber line supply voltage 
  • calling voltage 
  • resistance between wires a and b, wire a and ground, wire b and ground 
  • capacity between wires a and b, wire a and ground, wire b and ground 

Eltex.EMS management system

For mass operation of gateways on a network, Eltex offers Eltex.EMS - a shared network of monitoring and control. The system allows an administrator to automate control of the group of gateways and perform monitoring of ports. 

Mode of distributed mini-PBX

In case of disconnection of a gateway and the next higher IP-PBX a possibility of local switching is fully maintained for the subscribers of this gateway.
